"One Design" GRP Optimists
	Optimise performance on the water with a Sail One Optimist - the fast, fun, fantastic dinghy especially designed for kids! Sail One Optimists are beautifully crafted and made from top quality materials. Sail One GRP Optimists are individually hand-laid to very exacting tolerances and specifications. The team at Sail One want kids to know just how much fun sailing can be and start them off in the right boat - a Sail One Optimist. Sails Sail One sails are supplied by top sailmakers, and are available to suit a range of body weights and racing or club applications. The sail comes complete with numbers, battens and a bag.
Hulls Sail One "One Design" hulls are minimum weight and come complete with IYRU Building Fee Plaque and measurement certificate. They feature a double midship bulkhead and a foam sandwich bottom, to achieve maximum stiffness. A wide gunwhale allows for more comfortable hiking and also keeps the boat drier. All hull fittings are fixed to alloy plates which are bonded into the fibreglass layup, to prevent the fittings from pulling out under hard racing conditions. Ex Stock hulls are available in standard white with a white interior. Coloured hulls are made to order, allow a four-week lead time. Rig There are three choices of rig from Optiparts or Optimax - silver, gold or black/gold - to suit the ability and weight of the skipper.
Foils The Sail One foils can be supplied in ply epoxy with a paint finish or GRP. The rudder comes complete with aluminium tiller and Optiparts extension with flexible joint.   Click Here to visit our Online Shop
