Topper designed the Topaz OMEGA with the family in mind. To do this, they specified specific features that you will find on the finished product.

The OMEGA is the most spacious trilam thermoplastic sailboat to date and has been a hit with sailing schools, holiday companies and families alike.

Virtually Indestructible;
The hull uses Toppers' tried and tested TRILAM thermo-plastic moulding method.

Perfect Combination of Control and Excitement;
The OMEGA is a simple boat to rig and launch and the simple controls make gennaker sailing child's play.

Spacious and Comfortable;
The Topper Topaz OMEGA Can fit up to six people, and the Ian Howlett design breeds confidence through stability.

Outboard bracket;
The OMEGA has an optional outboard bracket as a simple solution to loss of wind or emergencies. The OMEGA also comes with an outboard storage locker inside the boat.

Great for sail training;
Able to take a crew of up to six people, the Topaz OMEGA is perfect for sail training as one person can man the tiller, another the trapeze, another the gennaker whilst two others control jib and main sail leaving room for a sail instructor.

Trapeze option;
For the club racer, or for advanced sail training.

GNAV;
GNAV is a head friendly kicking strap, using the bolt rope system so the mainsail can be hoisted from one side.

Gennaker;
Gennaker sailing has never been easier with Topper's simple one-line-in, one-line-out gennaker system shown in the picture: above, right.
